Well, as much as I like this author Jeanette Lynn, which is a new author for me, this series is just plain BORING. I bought the series thinking it would be like the stand alone book "Of Another Dimension", but it wasn't. The writing is the same but the good plot, twists and turns is sorely lacking. I just feel like it was a rushed series to make a buck. In this book both the bathroom and living room scenes early on are just STUPID, it's the only word I can come up with to get my point across. Throughout the story the main female character stands up for herself, has some occational witty comebacks, but put her in not one but two embarrassing situations and she says nothing, does nothing to defend herself or to straighten anyone out about the 2 misunderstandings either. OH but right AFTER the incidents were done and everyone has left she mentally calms herself and quietly scolds the guy that put her in the situations. COME ON, REALLY! All that did was piss me off! So, I feel like I won't be buying anymore of Jeanette Lynn's book series and I will stick with her individual stand alone books.Product details

Omg! It's too much. I laughed so hard my sides hurt. Painful humor--describes this book perfectly. I love Jaye and I think we have all met a guy like him at least once. Oh the embarrassing moments are priceless. I was reading this book in the middle of the night shaking with laughter while my poor husband was trying to sleep. Oh Lordy this book is a must read.
I've read quite a few books by this author and I always have a good laugh.That being said this author always seems to spin an excellent short story she really draws you into a whole different world.I feel as though I know the people in these stories,and I love the way she finishes each story (don't want to give anything away) give any book by this author a chance and I believe you'll truly enjoy the journey she takes you on. A great short story I'm off to read the 3rd story now I can't wait.
WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY FOR EVERY ADDITION TO THIS SERIES. ABSOLUTELY LOL WIT,SASSY AND DELIGHTFULLY HOT SEXY WRITING WITH HER CONTINUING FUNNY DIALOGUE BETWEEN EACH OF HER WICKEDLY WONDERFUL SEXY CHARACTERS. COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN UNTIL THE END AND LOOKING FORWARD TO THE COMING READING PLEASURE SHE DELIVERS WITH HER WONDERFUL CAPTIVATING WELL-ROUNDED CHARACTERS , DELIGHTFULLY OUTRAGEOUS DIALOGUE AND EROTIC HEARTWARMING INTERACTION. YOU'LL BE ABSOLUTELY THRILLED WITH ANY OF JEANNETTE LYNN'S BOOKS!!!!! I Recommend reading in order it just adds to the wonderful journey but they are wonderfully written no matter how you read them.
So yes, I am ridiculous! I downloaded the first book, read it, promptly bought the second, and I am now finessed with a it. In less than 24 hours. And like, I said in the first book's review...I am tired. ) But it was sooooo worth it. I loved this book just as much as the first. Jaye was so awesome! And Darlah was perfect for him. This book had me cracking up like crazy. I am giving it a 5 because I love alien/human woman books, and the aliens are so darn fantastic, and because it was so funny. I love me a funny book. But I really really would like to see more length in the next book. Your writing is great, and characters are superb, just give me a longer book and you have the perfect storm!
Okay, I know that we are not related or if we are related I have never met her personally, however, saying that I just want to say I know she must have met one or more of my children or the author has been to one or more of our family functions. Is "you bastard," a term of endearment? Yes, at my house it is....Okay, okay... it made my face hurt and was very familiar. One of my children looked up at me and asked me, "What were dinosaurs really like."
As soon as I finished the first book in this series Stellar Proportions I quickly posted a review and bought this one.
OH MY STARS!!! This book did NOT disappoint. Just as funny as the first but then this is Jaye's story so what's not to love??
I loved how the characters from the first book are still showing up this one (hope it's like that in all future books) just to see how they are getting along in their lives. Nona and Muna are just wonderful as is the rest of this crazy family.
Do yourselves a favor and get these books. They could stand alone but will enjoy it so much more from the beginning truly. Now I am off to read the next book in the series. Thank you Jeanette Lynn you are totally ROCKING THIS!!! Keep up the wonderful work =D
